Important Items To Bring On Your 4WD Tagalong Adventure
Personal Items To Bring:
Sensible, comfortable clothes (note that it can get much colder in the desert overnight if camping).
Camera with lots of space on the memory card (or spare rolls of film). Charge it - bring spare batteries.
Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Personal camping gear may be required.
Good shoes that you can walk in for a few hours.
Water for you and each member of group.
Food. Usually provided in tour but check.
Note: Mobile phones probably not going to work.
Always let someone know where you are going and when you are expected back.
Items for your 4WD:
Make sure vehicle has been serviced recently.
Check spare tire, oils, fluids, jack, etc
Map / First Aid Kit / Tow Rope. Usually provided but a good idea to have one in vehicle as standard anyway.
UHF Radio. Maybe be provided - check with tour.
Check the spare tire again.
Fuel. Check with tour operator what you need. They may need to know what type of fuel your 4WD uses.
